View Full Version : How do I do this in QB's?

Ok folks, I have tried asking the following question in others newsgroups
with no success.
Want I really want out of a small business accounting package is the ability
to view various financial ratios (such as Return on Assets, Inventory
Turnover, etc.). I would also like to be able to view common-size financial
statements (all the figures are percentages instead of values. The balance
sheet as an example, you would view all of the assets as a percentage of
total assets, all the liabilities as a percentage of total liabilities).
Can quickbooks do one or both of the above? If not, does anyone know of any
accounting software that will?
Thank you for your time.

you a report will all the ratios you desire.

With Pro or above versions of QuickBooks, you can print reports to Excel and
add formulas as needed. There are several third party reporting tools that
will help to automate this process. Intuit sells one and if you know Excel,
you can use my Custom Financial Reporter to create the kind of statements
you are looking for. For more information, see www.q2q.us
