There used to be a hack that would/might work. If you have an internet
connection, the fastest (and easiest) way is to register. If you wonder
about security and/or misuse of the info by Intuit, then put in bogus
information ( I'll bet that George W. Bush and Mickey Mouse are the
leaders). So far Intuit doesn't verify anything and there is no "activate"
type messages.....

Just to remind everyone using Windows: Your browser is most likely sending
some identifying information from your machine, including the name you have
given it. Certainly your current IP address is sent with every packet.
Since many/most people will have a dynamic IP address this might not be
much information, but it is an identifier.
Personally I don't worry about those things. Every time you pay someone
with a check or credit card, personal info is surrendered. Keep track of
your accounts, and get a credit report whenever you can. Do tell the
reporting company of any wrong info they have.
