Is there any way to convert an employee into vendor type and transfer all
the transactions to that vendor as well. I am using QB 2003 Pro. The reason
is that we have to issue T4A and since they are not employee but work as
subcontractor and we have to isssue T4A not T4. Initially it was setup as an
employee. Thanks in advance.

No.
You can change "Other Name" to any other name-type, but you can't change an employee to another type.

You'll have to do this T4A "manually". And, of course, set up a Vendor immediately for all payments after January 1.
