Stock Program Addin

I have a wholesale tyre business we run quickbooks pro 2003.
The major complaint is looking for stock while invoicing.
An example i: we have a number of different brands of tyres that are
the same size, the codes being 2056515dunlop, 2056515goodyear etc,
I would like to be able to bring up stock availabilty of all tyres
that have the 2056515 code and then select between the tyre that is in
stock and then bill it.
It seems that qb doesn't do this and I wonder if there is a addon
program that does,

If you have each tire brand and size set up as an inventory item, you should
be able to see at a glance how many of each is on hand. Ideally, you have
each tire size as a parent inventory item and then each brand as a subitem
of that parent. For example, when you open the Item List, you would see
2056515 and then all the brands listed below that. But even if you have the
inventory items set up as 2056515dunlop and 2056515goodyear, they should
appear in the item list in alpha/numeric order. So finding the size you need
should be a snap.

And you can check the item list while you are preparing the invoice simply
by selecting "Item List" from the "Lists" menu. Open the list, find which
brand(s) you have on hand. close the list and bill it.
