How can I somehow log this output, so I can debug this issues?
When you run memtest from the boot prompt, it is a standalone program
with no operating system. If it shows more than a screenful of errors,
you've got a serious problem. If you have more than one memory module,
try running with only one, or one pair depending on the type of memory.
Try resetting the BIOS to default settings.
