I am trying to decide whether to go with the mac or windows version.

I really was not able to tell from the descriptions which was better. But
there are around 3 versions for windows and one 1 for mac, so I'm just
wondering if the mac version is equivalent to the very basic windows
version? Any ideas?

I have used Mac versions for my own personal accounting for many years. I
have preferred it to the PC versions - the interface is easier to use. I am
familiar with both because I have clients who use the PC version. I think
the various PC versions in a year are to try to segment the market.
