View Full Version : using "diameter dimension" command to label circle's diameter

I have already created the center lines for a circle using the "center
mark" command using the color cyan on a particular layer.
However, I also need to use the "diameter dimension" command to show
the diameter of the circle in green. But how do I prevent it from
putting in a 2nd set of center lines? The number value should be
green and the center lines should be cyan. Thanks.

Have you tried setting the center mark size in your dimension style to 0?

I found the box in "modify dimension style" to set "center marks for
circle" to none after I already made my center lines on a different
layer in a different color.

And? If you have the marks already set it to 0. If you don't and you
want the marks to show then set it otherwise. Don't understand the problem.

Yes, I did what you said (setting the mark type to "none" works the
same). After you gave me the idea I found the box and it worked.
What I didn't know before was that I could have center lines of type
"line" (with size>0) in one layer and have center lines of type "none"
in another.
