news:M9BPa.20426$Pe2.629957@wagner.videotron.net... Hi Folks, I am STILL using an old but updated version of Quickbooks 2000. I would
like to move it to another computer in the office. Has anyone any tips how to
do so successfully? I have my original install disks, etc but am concerned that if I re-install, I am doing so with an out-of-date version. I have look for a solution on the Knowledgebase with no luck. Thanks
Do a final check for updates on the old computer and backup your company
files. Install the program on the new computer and check for updates. Then
do a restore on your company files to your new computer. If you are
transfering the files using CDs make sure that the files are not read-only.
Otherwise you should not have any problems installing the software on the
new computer.
