View Full Version : Compaq Pres 2500 Can't read Cdroom

I have a HP Compaq 2500 model 2558 EA..
And had Win Xp home edition on it. It was worked well. But I byed Pro
version and lost everything. Now My computer did not recognize my cd/dvd
anymore.
I did not come inside my computer more. And I tryed update bios before, but
looks like the bios not found the cd.room.

I have used default by rset under the laptop, didīt help.
I can't install win again. Have never herd of this problem before.How will I
came in my harddisk again and format, and reinstall all programs..? Do any
have had same problems..Hopefull for help..Have the 7 RecoeveryCD from HP,
but I can' t use them, because my cd did not read anything now..?
