View Full Version : Wrong Due Date

This morning, I attempted to make an Online Payment...

After selecting a Payee, I tabbed over, to enter an amount($),
and noticed that the Delivery date was today. Just for shits
and giggles, I attempted to complete this transaction, but
eventually got what I expected... An error, stating that it
was too late to submit this online payment (with today's date).

After exiting the program, I tried again, but came up with the
same result. I exited the program, restarted it, but the same
thing continued to happen.

After a little more experimenting, I discovered that this is
only occurring with one particular Payee. (While I haven't
tried *all* of my Payees, the error wasn't occurring with the
few others that I did try.)

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

An small addendum...

After checking my Online Payees List, I discovered that this
particular Payee has a Lead Time of "0."

Huh? While it would be great to be able to pay an online bill
on the day it's due, apparently Quicken doesn't agree.

How'd it get a "0?" Out of hundreds of Payees, it's the *only*
one that's not "4."

Hmmm.

Quicken BillPay can transfer funds on the next day if the destination
has electronic funds transfer capability. If not, a paper check must
be cut and mailed. That requires 4 days. The lead time is on top of
that and is the number of days the funds must be received in advance of
your requirement date.
