Little Known Free Update

Using QuckBooks Pro 6 for the Mac with OS 10.4.2 I found that the record
button on the registry was grayed out. I could work around it by using
the check form and deposit ticket, but I prefer the register.

I called Intuit and was told that there's free upgrade to version 7 for
those running the same configuration as I have. Not all the techs and
sales reps know about this.

That's the 2005 version, the one I've been using since it came out. If
Intuit stays true to form there will be a version 8.0 or 2006 released
shortly.
