View Full Version : "MiscExp" no longer allowed in IRAs as of this month in Q2006W?????

I am attempting to record a foreign tax withholding payment from my IRA. I
have always done so using a "MiscExp" transaction (through, and including,
last month in Q2006W). Today, the list of possible transactions is
considerably shorter than for the other investment accounts, and does not
include MiscExp. I tried copying the transaction from last month, and it
won't let me paste it in, either (although I can paste in still-"valid"
transactions such as "Sold").

This behavior is consistent across our three IRA accounts (MiscExp is
available in all other accounts except these 3, and not in any of these 3).
It was available in Q2006W last month. The file validates properly.

Are others having the same experience? Seems likely to have been an "under
the hood" software upgrade; however, to what point?

Thanks for any insight.

Just discovered that I can enter one by using the "Edit" button, even though
I cannot enter one in the register directly. Seems quite odd (and obtuse).
