View Full Version : Why won't Q2005 start at the next transaction?

When I open Quicken 2005 I have it set up to start at one of my checking
accounts. But the cursor is always in a record several up from the next
fresh entry. This is a little annoying as everytime I open Quicken to
record the daily bank deposit I have to scroll down to the next fresh
transaction record. This never happened in Q2000, is there a way to fix it
in 2005 so it opens at the next new transaction record? Thanks.

Rip,
I've noticed that too. After Quicken opens in your register of choice,
press the Space Bar once and you'll find the cursor on the date field of a
new/blank transaction (at least that's how it works for me). Not really a
fix, but a work-around.

I always hit Control-N for New Transaction.

Why do you park in a driveway and drive on a parkway?

It won't fix it but it will get you there quicker than scrolling ---
Use <Ctrl>+<End>
