I'm trying to make sure my transactions for stock purchases/sales are
registered at the end of the year for tax purposes... so i'm using the
"capital gains tax estimator". I bought and sold a exchange traded
stock option for a loss, so it should list it as a deduction...but it
doesn't seem to be find it..

Anyone know why?
It kind of defeats the purpose if at the end of the year i need to go
back and find all my buy/sells...

thanks
jason

At the end of the year, I don't believe it's the estimator you want to use.
Try running a capital gains report on your taxable accounts; this may give
better results (or not).

You should find it in the pre-made reports for "taxable gains and losses."
