View Full Version : How do I handle when Roxio became Napster?

I'm not sure how to handle this. I think the company called Roxio had two
families of products, the Napster music service and Roxio CD burning
software. They then sold the Roxio family to some other company, leaving
them only with the Napster product line. So, they then changed the
company's name to Napster and their stock symbol from ROXI to NAPS. In my
e-trade account in Quicken, however, the stock is still listed as security
name = "Roxio" and symbol = "ROXI". Each time I download the stock price,
its still the correct price for NAPS, even though it's called ROXI on my
screen.

I think I should just use Edit in the "Securities List" and change the
Security Name and Symbol fields. When I get prompted for "Should I keep the
ROXI prices and associate them with NAPS?" (or however that's phrased...), I
think I should say yes.

Make sense? Or is there a better way to do this?

I'm using Q2005P.

Thanks!
