hi
suddenly i cant hatch 2d objects by picking points anymore, but only in the
file im currently working on
when i pick the point inside the area it selects like 6000 objects and asks
me if i really want to do this...
its probably something i did while drawing ....but i cant figure out what...
thanx

Are you certain that the area you're dealing with is actually completely
closed?

This may or may not be the problem. I sometimes get that error, despite
closed area. I suspect linetypes may also count...

That glitch has happened to me before, too. I haven't been able to figure
out if it is one thing or several. It never happens on a very simple
drawing-only one dense ones. I resort to one method after another until
something works. My last resort is to draw lines across the area, breaking
it into several sub-areas, and then hatching each separately. I hate that.
