I use quicken deluxe 2005 on my desktop and laptop. on the laptop I have it
set you use the data file from the desktop via wireless. All work fine
except for on this.
At the bottom of the File menu it keeps a list of the data files and their
location. From numerous attempts at setting up the program using wireless I
have four entries listed. Back in 2003 the list was kept in the quicken.ini
file allowing easy editing. Can anyone tell me where in 2005 this list is
kept so I can delete the entries I don't want. TIA

Did you search your laptop? For XP it's in the user folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERID\Application
Data\Intuit\Quicken\Config\QUSER.INI

Charlie,
Thanks for trying but those directories aren't even on my pc. I have c:
\documents and settings\All users. under that is Desktop, Favorites,
Shared documents, Start menu.
than: ssteven\cookies\desktop\favories\my documents\start menu\user
data.
I did a search on both machines and did not find a folder called
application data. I know it should be there but darned if I could find
it
