View Full Version : Q5 Memorized Transactions?

I have a situation where memorized transactions disappear for no apparent
reason. It's not consistent and have not uncovered any particular pattern.
But periodically, the memorized transactions will disappear. For instance,
the grocery store that I use quite often and normally just fill in the new
amount after starting to type in the name, is no longer in memorized
transactions. I can see in my register, recent usage of this
vendor/transaction.
What could be the cause of this condition. Using Quicken v5 Premier R3 on
WinXP-SP2.
Thanks
Charlie

How long have you told Quicken to keep them around? Go to
Edit>Preference>Quicken Program>Register to find out. Maybe you just need to
increase the number of months.

Sorry so long in getting back - was out of town for awhile.
I have it set for 12 months and it's been that way for years through many
versions of Quicken. It does not happen all the time, just every once in
awhile. The last time, a few days ago, I was entering a transactions for
Safeway Store in which I had entered a transactions just 2 weeks ago and it
was not there.
