Reports - Filtering a GL report - QB2005 Pro

I frequently wish to export a report displaying the GL activity for a single
account over some period. If I set the filter for that account, the
resulting report displays what I want, but also includes a listing of all
the other accounts in my chart, showing no activity for them. When I export
to Excel, I have to then delete the uncalled for rows.

Is there any simple way to force QB just to display the selected account.

Modify Report, Advanced, "Include - In Use".

Another method is to generate a Balance Sheet or P&L (depending on the
account), double-click the account balance, and change the date range
if necessary.
