Interesting, I only have a Pentium 800 Celeron, and I don't have any
problems with my Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000. It works great.

However, my camera came with the Trackercam hardware. I never got
any of the original software/drivers FROM Logitech.

The camera itself makes great video, has a very large dynamic range,
working in very bright sunlight to in the dark (with nothing but
streetlights to light up my driveway), so I'm very happy.

I'd hardily recommend the Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000.

Take any webcam, except a Logitech. I have a 2.53 GHz PC, with a Geforce4 ti4600 graphics card, This PC is also too slow for a Logitech webcam. Years back, I had a Logitech quickcam home. It ran perfectly, even on an old PC. Then came drivers version 2 and up - and the very same camera acted like the new Logitech pro 4000 does. So it's all due to bad driver design, apparently. Instead of having a spacey look, tons of unwanted features...maybe Logitech should concentrate on drivers which just...works? /Frontier
