Can anyone recommend good webcam software which can capture visitors
IP addresses? It must also ftp (preferably video stream, although
static images would be OK) to a personal site hosted by an ISP. The
closest thing I can find is Webcam32. It does the above, but it's
unstable and the java applet seems to cause problems for viewers
behind company firewalls.
(Basically, all I am trying to achieve is to check visitors to my
site. It is hosted free by an ISP and they don't provide any logs. I
can't see how any log analyser software could possibly work on my
client machine, so I was wondiering if I could capture visitor detail
via my webcam?).
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It definitely shows you the IP of visitors (dunno if you can output to a log file) and it streams well. http://www.webcamxp.com/ HTH Jase
Thanks for the reply. I wonder will Webcamxp work behind company
firewalls? Webcam32 seems to have trouble streaming video for those
behind company firewalls.
On a different note, is there any other software that can capture
visitors logs for sites that are hosted with an ISP?
