View Full Version : Will Webcam32 work with DirectShow??

I recently bought an ATI Wonder TV VE video card for my computer running
Windows 2000. The ATI card works fine by itself; that is; I can run ATI's
software and view incoming video and use the built-in TV Tuner.

However, ATI says that it uses "DirectShow" (what is that?) rather than
VFW (video for Windows) to work. I believe that Webcam32 (and conquercam)
need VFW to work, right?

Is there a workaround this? I need a way to get Webcam32 working with
this ATI video capture card...

When I run Webcam32 right now, it runs, then locks up. The computer
doesn't lock up, just Webcam32. Same thing with Conquercam.

Both used to work fine on this same computer running Windows 98.
