To Be Printed does not clear upon printing

With Quickbooks Pro 2003, the To Be Printed box doesn't clear after
printing sales reciepts. I have to manually clear each one. It seems
to me that this once worked properly and I'm wondering if I changed
any setting. If so, I can't find any now.

Once when the Sales Receipt is printed the 'To be printed' box is
automatically unchecked and while closing the Sales Receipt QuickBooks
asks you to save the changes made. Check on 'Yes'.
