Hello good people,

Here's a Friday afternoon question for you DXF file format gurus out
there (come out come out wherever you are).

When we have DXF files that include shapes with white fills, those
fills are rendered as black when opened in AutoCAD (2000). Can anyone
explain this behavior, or even help us work around it? Is there an
engineering reason why white fills are a special case? If you look at
the properties of the white shape, it's all of a sudden listed as
white/black.

I can provide you with a sample if needed, via email.

Thanks in advance,

Jeroen Dekker

I think what you're seeing is that you have a light colored background and the fills are a light colored. ACad then
transposes the color white to black. If you'll set the background to black (or a dark color) the fills should be white.
