Dear All:
I am a Graphics Designer, developing one book for my clients in Corel Draw
10,
having many many color images.
Now, mostly I save image file as .PSD (Photoshop Format) in CMYK mode.
My Question is if I want to sent my Page with Images to Printing Press, What
is the
best Image file format for CMYK Four Color Printing, Is .PSD format it o.k,
or .EPS or .TIF?
another thing, is it good to send my Corel file for printing or need to
convert it into .PDF or Image File?
Awaiting your communication in the matter & thanking you.,
- Kalpesh

Most probable the print-shop will prefer to get a PDF - Corel isn't
widely accepted as a "professional" format.
When you create a PDF, all further discussions about image file
formats are irrelevant - images are converted to an appropriate
format.
The important settings - for which you should find out the print
shop's preferences - are in the prepress tab of the PDF options. You
should discuss this with the print shop before you create the Corel
page - adding a crop border on a page with lots of images can be a
PIA if you didn't think you'd need it.
Other settings - important for you and your customer - are in the
objects tab: The image resolution used for the conversion (print
quality) and the compression method (you don't want to compress as
JPG, do you?).
