View Full Version : Corel RAVE missing GIF Export

Suddenly, I have lost the ability to export animated GIFs from Corel RAVE
2.0. I exported a nice GIF yesterday, but today, only the Macromedia Flash
format (SWF) is available. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the whole
Corel 11 suite, but the problem remains.
There is an article in the Corel KB that describes this problem for RAVE
1.0, and the solution was described as "holding down the F8 key to restart
the program and restore factory settings". Well, this does not work for RAVE
2.0...
Any good ideas ?

I'm working from memory (just re-installed OS to a new hd) here, so pardon the
mistaken details ;-)
As Administrator, go to:
Menu > Tools > Options > Workspace > Global > Filters
in there, you will find the list of avaliable filters on the right, and the ones
that can be added on the left--add away ;-)
And keep your fingers crossed that the addition sticks (which it hasn't always
done, for some folks--don't know why).
