Hello:
I'm starting some study on metrics of software products.
I want to make an study of software products (in reality the study I
want to make is in metrics itself and not of the products) using some
metrics like
1) "Martin Metrics", abstraction, inestability, etc.
2) Ciclomatic number, using in each method of each class.
and compare some products (language = Java) that I have the code using
this metrics.
The idea is to use this metrics during development (in a course in an
university) using an iterative development cycle. I want to see if the
students using the metrics and getting a bad result in one iteration
do better in the next iteration.
Please help me with info saying if this metrics are good or not.
And please give info about other metrics for OO software that can
measure quality in some way.
Sorry for my bad, bad, bad english and thanks a lot for the help you
can give me.
Diego.
Diego,
There is lots of information out there about software measurement, and I
suggest you should do a bit more of your own research (on the web) and when
you have specific issues with a specific topic, then start a discussion.
People are unlikely to respond to someone who seems not to have done the
initial research.
