I am currently using MS office 2000 professional, can anyone advise if
it would be worth while paying for an upgrade to Office XP ?

IMHO, it would not be worthwhile to upgrade to Office XP (or 2003) for
that matter. I have copies of both XP and 2003. I use 2000. Nuff said?
