I hope someone can help.

As a sort of belt and braces approach i'd like to install an AV
product on my mail server. ALL desktops have Symantec AV Corporate
Edition installed with updates automatically sent by the AV server but
if I install a simple single user retail McAfee VirusScan product on
the Mail server does this contravene any licensing restrictions. I'm
assuming you can install a product on a server even though its not
actaully 'servibg' the product out to any clients?

Has anyone any experience of this? IS it legally OK - the company is
hot on being legal - especially since we had an interesting visit from
a FAST rep recently.
Thanks

I think McAfee has a server product (we use it). I'd assume that's what
you should be using, not only for licensing reasons, but probably
for technical reasons.
