I have been using Quicken XG (2003) for about a month and all went
well till my account transactions started disappearing. They leave the
bank site and pouf! are nowhere to be found. I even tried setting it
up so that I got the message saying "Quicken has received your
transactions - do you want to process them now or file them for
later?" I chose the file option, but couldn't find any resultant file.
Then I created a folder on my desktop to put the file, named the file
and hit "save". The file folder was still there but it was empty.

Then I tried to reinstall the programme but it wouldn't till I'd
uninstalled the current one. Trouble is, it won't uninstall - in the
add/remove programmes area, the preliminary Install Shield Wizard gets
half way through then quits and disappears.

The rest of the program works fine but the only reason I "upgraded"
was for the download aspect. Gr.

I am happy to say that in my case, Tech Support (Canada) was
execellent and fixed this problem for me. It involved a complex
weaving in and out from Quicken to internet settings and renaming of
files but in the end it worked. The tech support obviously knew
exactly what she was doing and was clear in her instructions - a
pleasant change from some other experiences I've had.
