Description:
The person in this contract position will be involved in developing test
plans, analyzing functional requirements, building test cases, and test
execution for an outsourced web application. As the primary QA Analyst for
the vendor management team, they will participate in all areas of Quality
Assurance, and will work with the outsource vendor to develop and execute a
comprehensive testing strategy. This includes the following activities:
review functional and technical specification documents for clarity,
identify and verify test scenarios and test cases, develop test strategy
plan, test execution, log and track defects, and assist with user acceptance
testing. Additionally, this person will be responsible for maintaining all
project process and product quality metrics and providing quality reports.
Must skills include: Analytical and problem solving skills; an understanding
of QA principles and methodologies; experience in creating test plans and
scenarios; ability to read and understand business and technical
requirements, experience in MS Word and Excel; ability to maintain detailed
QA documentation; experience in the Rational suite of testing tools; an
understanding of the complete range of web application testing strategies to
include:
- Data and Database Integrity Testing, Functional Testing, Business Cycle
Testing, User Interface Testing, Performance Profiling, Load Testing, Stress
Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing.
Prefer skills include: someone that is dedicated to Customer Service and
satisfaction and can work independently, with little or no supervision,
while still being a team player.
