View Full Version : ITIL Compliant CM Plan
Hi all
Does anyone have an ITIL compliant CM Plan which they could possibly
share ? We have a large project, with the client talking about ITIL
Std. CM, with Application, COTS, O/S software, and a large amount of
servers, needing to be Configuration Managed.
TIA for any replies
Regards

It is important to realise that ITIL is a framework of best practices, not a
set of standards. Any of the available templates (IEEE, SEI, etc.) will meet
the ITIL guidance. If you are looking for more than a template then the best
you should expect is an example because by its nature a CM Plan will be
specific to your organisation and project. As you say your project is
_large_ you may even want to produce more than one CM Plan.
For templates and examples you could try:

site has a REALLY irritating dialog every time you navigate away from this
page)
