Hi, I(we) are new to CVS and are using it to establish version control
for the first time. We have everything set up more or less the way we
want it and have been committing etc for a while.
This is a java project where all the developers are using eclipse with
the incorporated CVS capabilities. The problem is that when one of us
tags a revision and/or makes a branch none of the other developers can
see the branches in the eclipse GUI. I am sure this is a newbie
question and I probably need to adjust some file in CVSROOT but I am
at a loss.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers,
Mike Cassisa

Even I am at a loss never having used eclipse. What I could suggest is
try checking out from a branch from command line. If that works, you can
work forward and look to get it working on eclipse. If not, you need to
work backward and check for the branch label name's existence in the CVS
repository fiiles (check in CVSROOT/val-tag)

Don't know how eclipse works with CVS,
but, it might have something to do how you did the tag.
try 'cvs history -T' and see you can see it or not.
