View Full Version : Newbie Question...pop3 services not working on NT2000

pop3 has stopped working on one of my NT2000 boxes.
There is no pop3 for many different program applications: i.e. Outlook
Express, Outlook, Total Commander or
a command line application called getmail.exe. But my other NT boxes are
working fine. So I'm assuming that the pop3 service on the affected
computer has been screwed with...somehow.


Several Questions:
Is there a virus that attacks pop3?
Can I reload pop3 service without reloading all of NT2000?
Am I off base on this?
Any other ideas?
