Hi,
I'm trying to run various exe programs as NT services.

I have tried various programs, to no avail.

The programs i am trying to run are:
YahooPOPs
ChoicemailOne
IzyMail
psGmail

Is there any reason why an exe couldn't work as a service?
Has anyone had any experience with setting up an exe to run as a service?

I have tried using instsrv/srvany
firedaemon
nssm
MakeService

Any help is appreciated,
Thankyou
Ben

You can use a program as Service+ from Nicoware. It will run any
application as a service. You can control the applications environment
and use separate start and stop commands for your application.

It has a very nice GUI and you don't have to be an expert to use it.

We are using it on our servers and workstations for a variety of
applications without any problems at all.

Thanks for letting me know.

I shall have a go.

It is $99 though, which isn't as good as the other programs which do this
same job.
However if it works ...
