View Full Version : permission over a folder

Hi,
is there a method to "sticky" permissions over a folder? Imagine I've
got a folder which is owned to user A and which grants access to user B.
This means that if B write a files in the folder, the file will have B
permissions, and not A. Now under Linux it is possible to apply the
suid/guid bit to a folder/directory, thus each file created in the
directory will have the owner/group specified by the above bits. Is
there something similar in windows? Is it possible to fix permissions to
the folder so to say: "everybody which can write in this folder will
create files with same permissions as A"?
Thanks,
Luca
