Is it possible, for instance, to have one IRA account, and have
downloads from several different brokerage accounts go into that one
account?

No. Each Quicken account has its own account-specific
information, such as financial institution name, account number,
PIN etc. That account specific information is used to link your
Quicken account to a specific account at a specific financial
institution.

Also I see no advantage to doing it, even if you could.
