Quicken would be able to give you the proper answer when using different
country versions, as the data formats are slightly different.

news:iJf2b.43$EF.3377@nnrp1.ozemail.com.au... I have been using Quicken 2002 Plus. I have upgraded to a new computer and Windows XP. As part of the deal received a copy of Quicken 2003 Delux. This installed ok. I have moved my QDATA files to the new computer. Quicken 2003 Delux will not recognise QDATA file. I have tried converting but an error comes up saying either file is
invalid or belongs to an earlier version. Well yes it does but I had hoped that was what the conversion was supposed to do. I have tried exporting using QIF. The import function in Qucken 2003 says that the data is not valid. The only thing I can think of is that (as I am in Australia) the guy who sold me the computer and the newer Quicken software sold me an American version. Is it possible that I have a countryt version problem? Can anyone help me resolve this problem? I am considering simply installing the old Quicken 2002 and avoiding all
the fuss but I would like the newer version. thanks
