Stop laughing. I have a client that still has this in production. I haven't
used it in years. I've created a report and I takes parameters. I'm able
to prompt to choose from a dropdown, but the user can only select one at a
time. How do I enable multiple selections? They don't have the
documentation anymore.
Thanks,
Jon

Hi, Fellow :) We have all those OSes (95,98,NT,XP, Mac) spread over the
place ...
and I fear there are much more places like this keeping it another shameful
secret ...
much more than we might think. At least our server is AIX ...

Even if You have no docco, it would be very helpful if You could tell
- if You are trying to start a *.rep File
(on W95/98 You would find a background box
called Reports Background Engine with a logging function),
- if it has a Parameter Mask
(You indicate it by "dropdown") ...
My guess from my Crystal Ball
(no Version, no etc ...~8o| )
is:
if You have a *.rep file, and You are not developing Yourself using
Developer2000 / DS6i,
then the Parameter mask cannot be changed because the *.rep is compiled.
Otherwise I would suggest You to open the *.rdf in Developer and change the
PM for
Your needs. Multiple Selections can be done, of course, then.
