We are running:
Oracle 9i (9.2.0.4) on Windows 2k.
Forms9i 9.0.2 with Patchset 2 on Windows 2k.

Since we installed Forms9i Patchset 2, items that display CLOB columns in a
Multiline Text Item do not display correctly. These items have the folowing
properties: DataType Long, MaxLength 65534, Font Courier New, MultiLine,
Word Wrap.

If the database column is NULL or EMPTY_CLOB(), the item is displaying a
series of boxes. During the querying of the records, a 'Cancel Query' popup
is almost instantly popuped, which normaly popups after 5 seconds if the
query is a long running query.

SOmeone else who has seen this strange behaviour ?

Thanx.

I've not seen this particular behavior because our home brewed App
contains no LONG/CLOBs. My only comment is that 9iAS R2 V9.0.2* is
buggy, buggy, buggy.

Hopefully V9.0.4 a.k.a. 10g AS will be less buggy.
