Hi Everyone,

We have a weird scenario here with the Oracle Sales Online part of the
Oracle eBusiness Suite:

The Quotes tab of the application seems to stop responding at
psuedo-random times. I say psuedo because, on my computer, I can get
it to stop responding by:
1. Log into the application click the quotes tab, then close internet
explorer
2. Do step one 5 times.
3. on the 5th attempt, the quotes page does not respond. I click on
it,
and it just sits there with the progress bar barely moving, and
then
the page finally times out.
4. I go to internet explorers Tools->Internet Options-> General tab,
select "Delete Files", then close Internet Explorer.
5. restart IE, relog in, click the quotes tab. It works fine, but
after
the 5th iteration again, it stops responding.

On other machines, it seems to happen either more frequently (like on
the 3rd try) or less. I've tried using Mozilla and Netscape also.
Mozilla seems the best, where it will only stop responding maybe after
the 10th time, but after I close mozilla, wait a couple minutes, and
try again, it is fine.

Anybody seen anything like this before... My next task is to snoop the
network to see if the applicatoin server is actually sending the data
to my machine or not..

Thanks!
Michael
