Frustrated with lack of database support or need to also now support
databases like DB2? Checkout the new SQL-Station 7.0 version and you
may find you get more for your money without the sales calls to keep
adding more extras for more money. Try it for yourself to see

Not really. What I am frustrated by is spammers such as yourselves
that think that by not reading a usenet group charter, or reading
it and ignoring it, you can flagrantly violate the group, violate
its members, and that any of us will reward you by visiting your
web site and/or purchasing your product.

If you do not apologize for your spamming and repost to the
appropriate usenet group c.d.o.marketplace ... then you will find
your future reception even colder than this.

WRT cost of TOAD.. I personally do not know anyone who ever "paid" for
it... they usually just download the free trial version...

So, how can you get lower cost than free... unless they are willing to
pay me to use it :)

I know many, many users who have gladly paid for it..The added functionality is well worth it.

According to their website, "The TOAD Freeware version may be used for
a maximum of five (5) users..." If more than 5 people in your company
regularly download TOAD your company will get a call from Quest.

I like TOAD, but it has its limitations. It doesn't support browsing
the command history using up/down arrow keys. I ended up writing my own
tool for this reason alone. I would appreciate it if you would try my
program and give feedback. http://www.sqlpal.com/sqlpal.zip (You can see
a screenshot at http://www.sqlpal.com ) I have updated it a few minutes
back to fix a couple of bugs. Please send feedback to
sqlpal (at) sqlpal (dot) com

Apparently you don't know Toad. Toad does maintain a command history.
