Hi,
I am developing an application in c, unix (solaris 8), sql, oracle 9.2
It works if I can compile the application using the makefile :
/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/precomp/demo/proc/demo_proc.mk
Since I am building an application in 32 bit C, (16 bit proc, probably) I
decided to look at the makefile in :
/opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/precomp/demo/proc/demo_proc32.mk
I changed my makefile appropriately and it would not compile as could
not find $ORACLE_HOME/lib32 just a directory $ORACLE_HOME/lib.
Is this an installation problem or am I being stupid !!
Ta
Pat

Hello Pat,

if I look on my servers, it seems that $ORACLE_HOME/lib32 exists only in 64
bit oracle installations. The file ../demo_proc32.mk may be the example for
developing 32 bit programs against a 64 bit database on the same host.
