Format Pdf files

I have to do a lot of reports with Oracle Report 9 and all of them
must be done in pdf files . All these reports will make a kind of book
, wich must have an index and all pages must have numbers. The
question is if i can do this with report or if exists another tool to
make this, i mean that automaticaly run a process in batch mode,
create an index and put page numbers in all reports as one.-
