Hi,

I've installed LSSV on the same server from which I'm trying to
execute the following:

RMAN> BACKUP DEVICE TYPE sbt BACKUPSET ALL;

The respons is:

Starting backup at 2004-09-28
using target database controlfile instead of recovery catalog
allocated channel: ORA_SBT_TAPE_1
channel ORA_SBT_TAPE_1: sid=174 devtype=SBT_TAPE
channel ORA_SBT_TAPE_1: NMO v4.1.0.0
skipping backupset key 1; already backed up 1 time(s)
input backupset count=2 stamp=538023833 creation_time=2004-09-28
channel ORA_SBT_TAPE_1: starting piece 1 at 2004-09-28

-- And here it hangs without anything happening

I execute the following in SQLPlus:

SQL> select sw.event, sw.state, s.SECONDS_IN_WAIT, s.CLIENT_INFO,
p.spid from
2 v$SESSION_WAIT sw, V$SESSION s, V$PROCESS p
3 where sw.sid=s.sid and s.PADDR=p.ADDR AND sw.event like
'%sbt%';

-- And the output is:

EVENT STATE SECONDS_IN_WAIT
CLIENT_INFO SPID
------------------------------ -------------------- ---------------
------------------------------ ------------
Backup: sbtbackup WAITING 773
rman channel=ORA_SBT_TAPE_1 27605

-- The output in 'sbtio.log' says:
SBT-27605 09/28/04 01:42:52 PM do_info2: could not locate save set:
c-3783320914-20040928-00
