Account name in use - ???

Using Q2004 Premier, I keep getting "name in use" messages when adding
accounts. These account names are actually in use - in another file.
Surely Q can handle duplicate account names in different files?

Is there a hidden account with the name you are trying to use?

You also can't re-use a name *ANYWHERE* else in the file. I found that if a
security or category or other parameter in Q had the name it couldn't be
used again for anything.

Yeah, well if it appears on the category and transfer list, which is
categories and accounts then no, you can't have an account with the same
name as a category.
