NullPointerException when logging on to Enterprise Manager

After logging on to my local database in the web based Enterprise
Manager for Oracle 10.1.0.4 with the account sys as sysdba, it redirects
me to

http://localhost:5500/em/console/license

and fails with the following message. Does anybody have a clue why this
happens?

NullpointerExceptions are usually being caused by lack of memory.
