Hi,

I have a HP media center m380n. The keybord quick connect keys on top of the
keyboard never worked. When I tried to reconfigar them in control panel
there was nothing listed under keyboard properties>buttons tab.

I called HP support and they had me reinstall the drive for the Wireless
keyboard but that did not help. The support lady then said that the next
step is to do a soft recovery on the PC which I did not want to do just yet.
She said that this is the only solution. I find this odd as the only thing
she tried with me was to reinstall the driver. I have too much information
and new softwares installed that I will lose and have to reinstall if I went
ahead with the soft recovery! Anyone can help me with this please.

The PC is less than a month old and these keys never worked. If I can not
get them to work soon, I am thinking of returning the PC and getting a
different brand. I really think that HP needs to hire a better support if
they want to stay in business.

Thanks in advance.
