View Full Version : Need Fast Scanning from Document Feeder
I need a printer that will scan quickly from an automatic document feeder.
Don't care so much about quality. I just bought the HP 6110, but am very
disappointed with the speed at wich it scans from document feeder. Even at
the lowest settings (75 dpi b&w), it has to cycle the scanning lamp back and
forth across the glass for every page, which seems pointless since the lamp
doesn't need to move when scanning from the document feeder (ie the page
moves across the lamp). Is there a way to get it to scan from the ADF at
the same speed it's capable of Copying from the ADF?
Any of the HP multifunction units do a better job with this?

Nevermind, returned the HP and bought the Canon MP730, works like a charm.
