I am getting grey bands printing across all prints on my HP Laserjet 5. If
I look at the cartridge, there are bands on the drum, which if I clean off,
allow 1 or 2 good prints before the problem recurs. I have tried the
cartridge in another printer and it seems fine there, so it seems to be some
function on my printer that is supposed to clean toner of the drum that is
not occuring. The toner and the bands are fully fused to the paper.
Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.
